Welcome Home, Thomas Family!
The time has come to gather again! We are so excited to welcome you to the upcoming 2026 Thomas family reunion. Next year's theme is about Restoring Our Roots, giving us a chance to look back on the strong foundation our ancestors built. We'll be remembering the rivers and lakes that we're used to--the places and memories that flow through our family's story.
Just as a river returns to sea, we are making our own return to renew our bonds and create new memories together. This reunion is a special opportunity to celebrate where we come from and embrace who we are today.
Remembering Our Past
The "Remembrance' part of our theme is dedicated to honoring the incredible legacy of the Thomas family. We'll be sharing cherished stories, poring over old photographs, and celebrating the generations that came before us. It's a chance for the younger family members to learn about their heritage and for the older generation to pass on their wisdom. With this in mind we will have an Elders Council made up of a small group of Thomas elders to provide counsel in planning this reunion.
Our Commitment to Transparency and Communication
As our family elders conducted family reunion business in the past, we are committed to complete transparency and communication in all aspects of the reunion. As we move forward, we want to ensure our planning is open and accessible to all. We understand that some of our elders and others may not use email or social media, so we will use all forms of communication--including physical letters, email, and social media--to ensure everyone can stay up to date on our progress. We'll be providing regular updates, sharing how reunion funds are being used, and making sure you always have a way to connect with the planning committee. Our goal is to use these tools to build a stronger, more trusting family foundation for generations to come.
The Joy of Our Return
"The Return" is all about the here and the now. It's about coming home to each other, strengthening our family ties, and building a foundation for the future. From family-friendly games and shared meals to heartfelt conversations, we'll be making new memories that will last a lifetime. This Is our moment to reconnect, laugh, and celebrate the unique bond that makes us family.
